Job Summary:
As a Client Access & Support Implementation Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving Ecobank’s digital banking adoption in Cameroon. You will work closely with corporate and commercial clients, fintech partners, and merchants to onboard, train, and support their usage of Ecobank’s suite of digital products. Your expertise will be essential in transforming traditional banking practices into modern, efficient digital solutions.
At Ecobank Cameroon, the CASIO will be responsible for:
- Driving Digital Adoption: Collaborating with Corporate and Commercial banking clients to implement and promote Ecobank Cameroon’s digital products, increasing overall usage and revenue.
- Partnering with Fintechs: Developing strategic partnerships with fintech companies to design and deploy customized digital solutions that meet the unique needs of clients, merchants, and partners, fostering innovation and expanding Ecobank’s ecosystem.
- Empowering Clients: Providing comprehensive onboarding and training programs to equip Ecobank Cameroon clients with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively navigate and utilize digital platforms, enhancing user experience and satisfaction.
- Facilitating Digital Transformation: Leading initiatives to transition clients from traditional banking methods to digital solutions, streamlining processes, and improving efficiency for both clients and the bank.
- Delivering Exceptional Support: Offering proactive and responsive after-sales support through online and remote channels, ensuring clients and merchants have seamless access to assistance with digital products and services.
- Staying Ahead of the Curve: Continuously monitoring and analyzing digital banking trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities in the Cameroon market, sharing insights and recommendations to keep Ecobank at the forefront of innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deployment and Sales: Facilitate the successful rollout and adoption of Ecobank’s digital platforms, including OMNI Plus, OMNI Lite, POS systems, and mobile payment solutions.
- Client Onboarding and Training: Conduct comprehensive training sessions to empower clients with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively utilize Ecobank’s digital channels.
- Fintech Collaboration: Partner with fintech companies to deliver innovative, tailored solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients and merchants.
- Digital Transformation: Champion the shift from manual banking processes to streamlined digital solutions, educating clients on the benefits of adopting Ecobank’s platforms.
- Client Support: Provide first-level technical assistance and troubleshooting for clients using Ecobank’s digital products, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of digital banking trends and competitor activities in Cameroon, sharing insights to inform Ecobank’s strategies.
- Reducing Manual Processes: Proactively enroll clients in digital channels to minimize reliance on manual transactions, such as Manually Initiated Funds Transfers (MIFT).
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (minimum), preferably in IT, software engineering, or a related field.

Experience:
- 6+ months professional experience (any industry).
- Experience in banking or fintech is a strong asset.
- Knowledge of AI, ChatGPT, or blockchain is a plus.
- Familiarity with digital banking applications is highly desirable.

- Technical: Microsoft Office Suite, basic programming, understanding of computer hardware/software.
- Interpersonal: Strong communication, presentation, and sales skills.
- Business Acumen: Understanding of accounting, marketing, and general business principles.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Cameroonian banking market.
- Languages: Fluent in English and French.
